Sunday Information (Easter Weekend)
April 5, 2021
Happy Easter Monday!
The Easter season has arrived! I hope that you all have a wonderful Easter celebration! This time of the year brings with it much hope, excitement, and renewal. We will continue to celebrate Jesus' resurrection for the next 40 days, and to take the lessons that we have learned over the last 40 days with us. This truly is the most exciting time of the year as plants begin to bloom and the weather warms up and we celebrate the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us.
We have also reached the final stretch of the school year. We have essentially 2 months left with very few interruptions. This will be a great way for our children to create some positive momentum as we head into the summer. These months will be an opportunity for us to really focus in and finish the year strong! There are a couple of things that I ask of you to help us finish this year on the right foot.
Maintain an emphasis on school work. It is easy to let up as we approach the end of the year, but we need all students to stay focused in and working hard until the end of the year. Summer break is the time to slow down, not the end of the school year.
Emphasize the faith! You will be receiving a letter from Father Farrar soon detailing the need for all families to return to an active practice of faith. Your role in practicing the faith at home is essential to what we do at school. Our work does not have the same effect if you are not fulfilling your roll in teaching the faith. If the pandemic got you out of the habit, it is past time to get back into the habit.
If you can help us with these things, then we will assuredly go into the summer with great momentum! Please always remember that you are the most important person in terms of your child's success. Your example, hard work, and love will carry your children now and for the rest of their lives. The school can only aid you along that journey, we cannot do it for you.
As always, I pray that you have a great week! If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

We still need multiple volunteers to help with Mexican Supper leadership for next year. This event will not happen on its own, we need your help if we want the tradition to continue!
Financial Aid for Next Year
The financial aid application is now ready for any family who intends to apply for financial aid for next school year. The financial aid application is completed through Smart Aid and must be completed if you would like help with tuition payments. If you are a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church but would like financial assistance to help cover the cost of school fees, you do not need to complete the Smart Aid application. For those families, financial aid eligibility will be dependent on qualification for free or reduced lunch next school year. Please reach out if you have any questions.
For those completing a Smart Aid application, the directions are attached below. These must be completed by May 15th. Mr. O'Neill will be reaching out to all tuition paying families over the next couple of weeks to discuss tuition agreements for next year.
