Happy Sunday,
"Be still and know that I am God." This is the Bible verse that is on the front of our school shirts this year and something that we have spent some time talking about at school. After a busy week like we had last week, it is a nice way to refocus our attention on what matters. Many of us had a chance to spend more time in prayer as a family when things were shut down. However, now that our lives are becoming busy again, are we holding on to that time or are we again saying that we are too busy? It is important that we take time each day, individually and as a family, to be still and recognize God's presence.
Thank you for all of you who dedicated time this past week to help make our Mexican Supper go. We obviously did not serve as much as we have in the past, but we did sell over 850 meals. There is still taco meat and rice available for purchase if you would like an easy dinner this week. Be on the lookout for an email with more information in the coming days. Below are some pictures of some of the fun that we had on Friday.
Finally, I hope all of you had an opportunity to read the email that was sent out yesterday regarding a positive test by one of our school parents. The health department has warned us that they expect cases to begin increasing again as the weather continues to change. Please don't take for granted the success we have been having with this virus. We must continue to take all of the necessary steps to keep ourselves and those around us safe and healthy.
I hope that you all have a wonderful fall week. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.
God Bless,
Mr. O'Neill
